Tips for a first-time upload

My signature looks blurry at 20 KB

Crop tightly around the signature before uploading. Less empty paper means more detail fits in the same KB.

The form says minimum 10 KB but my file is smaller

Snugfile adds invisible padding to the file so it meets the minimum. The picture itself does not change.

Is 20 KB 20,000 or 20,480 bytes?

Portals differ, so Snugfile stays under the stricter limit on both sides: at most 20,000 bytes for a 20 KB maximum.
